Jose Mourinho Reportedly Signs Pre-Contract Agreement to Join Manchester United

Jose Mourinho has reportedly signed a pre-contract agreement with Manchester United and will take over from current Old Trafford manager Louis van Gaal in the summer.

According to Wayne Veysey of Football Insider, the Portuguese has sealed a three-year deal with the Red Devils worth £48 million, equivalent to £308,000-a-week.

The report added that, despite increasing calls for Van Gaal to be sacked immediately, Mourinho, 53, will not take over until the end of the 2015-16 season.

The former Chelsea, Inter Milan and Real Madrid boss has been continually linked with the United job as their season has unravelled, and Bleacher Report's Dean Jones believes he could be a big help at Old Trafford:

'BROKE' 50 CENT ORDERED TO COURT AFTER FLASHING CASH ONLINE

The rapper "50 Cent" is heading to court to explain why he's declaring bankruptcy -- while posting pictures of himself surrounded by cash on Instagram.
Curtis J. Jackson III filed for bankruptcy in July. He claims that he still makes millions, but that a flood of expensive lawsuits is killing him.
The guy who got famous for his 2003 album called "Get Rich or Die Tryin" has poked a lot of fun at his financial situation. But now U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Ann M. Nevins is worried the rapper is being outright dishonest.

Since October, 50 Cent has posted several photographs on Instagram of him playing with cash. In one, he's in bed surrounded by dozens of stacks of $100 bills -- easily $50,000 in that picture alone.
In another, he stacks the Benjamins to spell out "B-R-O-K-E."

KANYE WEST DROPS NEW ALBUM, SAYS HE'S $53 MILLION IN DEBT

(CNN) Oh, Kanye West. Wow. Even by your attention-grabbing standards, this was a weekend to remember. Or maybe to forget.

West is raising eyebrows for appealing to Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg on Sunday to invest $1 billion "into Kanye West ideas" to alleviate his financial woes.

But let's back up a bit.

The talented but polarizing hip-hop artist released his long-delayed album, "The Life of Pablo," on Saturday night after performing two songs on "Saturday Night Live." Wrapping up the song "Ultralight Beam," West announced the album was available on his website and on Tidal, the streaming service.

His wife, Kim Kardashian, chimed in helpfully on Twitter, saying, "Everyone Go get #TheLifeOfPablo."

But many fans complained on Twitter about not wanting to having to buy a Tidal subscription to hear the album, while those who went to West's site were greeted only with an audio message from Yasiin Bey, a stage name for rapper Mos Def.

Rooney, Martial Set Sights On Fragile Sunderland

Manchester United will face the worst defence in the Premier League on Saturday, which should have their strike-force of Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial licking their lips in anticipation.

Sunderland have conceded 49 goals so far this season — the main reason why Sam Allardyce’s side find themselves in relegation trouble inside the bottom three.

Their record at the Stadium of Light is not as troubling, with only 13 goals conceded on home turf to date.

But the Black Cats are evidently vulnerable and Rooney and Martial will be looking to add to their goal tallies as United bid to keep their prospects of Champions League qualification alive.

They go into the weekend six points off the top four under Louis van Gaal, whose position remains under intense scrutiny following reports of an approach for Jose Mourinho to replace the Dutchman as manager at Old Trafford.

Best Airports Of 2015

Turning to the list airports actually do want to end up on, there were few surprises on Sleeping in Airports world's best airports of 2015 roundup.

Singapore's Changi International, as it has for the last two decades, held onto the top spot.

"It's hard to know where to begin when it comes to describing the airport's strengths," said Sleeping in Airports.

"Perhaps, it's the extreme efficiency experienced when moving from the airplane to the city centre? Or maybe it's the luxurious layover indulgences, which include a fish spa, a sauna, a butterfly garden, showers and a koi pond?"

U.S. JURORS AWARD $23.1 MILLION TO BLACK MAN SHOT BY POLICE CHIEF

A federal jury awarded $23.1 million on Wednesday to a 22-year-old black man who was unarmed when he was shot and paralyzed by a sheriff’s deputy, but Florida lawmakers will have to approve any award above $200,000.

The six-woman, two-man jury ruled after 3 1/2 hours of deliberation that Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Sgt. Adams Lin violated Dontrell Stephens’ civil rights when he shot him in September 2013.

Lin, who had stopped Stephens for riding his bicycle into traffic, testified that he shot him four times because he reached for his waistband with his left hand and then flashed a dark object that he thought was a small handgun.

Stephens testified that he was raising his hands when Lin opened fire for no reason. Video from the dashboard camera in Lin’s patrol car showed Stephens’ left hand was empty and a cellphone was in his right hand.

Why Do Public Fund Looters Flee Abroad?

I find it strange and absurd that those who are brave enough to steal from the nation flee abroad for safety against possible prosecution.
The illusion of safety in a foreign land drives the majority of hefty thieves out of this country to seek refuge in unfriendly countries to Nigerians, but for the money.
My stand is simple: if you are bold enough to steal from the public, be bold enough to stay and face the consequences.
Another irritating dimension is when large funds are stolen from Nigeria, deposited through a proxy in a foreign bank account, and seized as being laundered, everyone loses: Nigerians, the thief in question.
There have been cases where looters of public funds, in sheer desperation and naivety, get themselves jailed abroad. James Ibori, the former governor of Delta State, has been wasting away in a British jail for the past six years. He was sentenced to a prison term of thirteen years in 2012. The laundered monies were seized, and he will be deported to Nigeria empty handed after his release.

Kanye West Ends Feud With Wiz Khalifa

Kanye West has announced he’s officially ended his feud with Wiz Khalifa after the pair got locked in a bitter war of words last week.
The Yeezus rapper and Wiz were initially arguing over the fact he'd named his upcoming record Waves, and things soon escalated.
He claimed Wiz had been trapped by Amber Rose, brought up her past as a stripper and mentioned their son, Sebastian.
But on Tuesday, Kanye took to Twitter to say they had finally settled their differences.
“Me and Wiz spoke yesterday. Great convo. All positive," he shared with his 18 million followers.

SHELL TO CUT 10,000 JOBS

Royal Dutch Shell has confirmed the cutting of 10,000 jobs amid its steepest fall in annual profits for 13 years.

It made $1.8bn (£1.23bn) for the fourth quarter of the year, compared with a $4.2bn profit for the same period the year before.

Full-year 2015 earnings were $3.8bn, compared with $19bn in 2014, the BBC reports.

The oil firm indicated it would report a massive drop in profits two weeks ago and said it would cut 10,000 jobs, partly thanks to its takeover of BG.

RED DEVILS GO GOAL CRAZY (MAN UNITED 3- STOKE 0)

Wayne Rooney edged closer to Sir Bobby Charlton’s goalscoring record last night as Manchester United turned on the style.

Rooney scored his seventh goal in as many games to take his United tally to 244, just five behind Sir Bobby’s long-standing club record.

Louis van Gaal’s side had not scored a first-half goal in 11 games at Old Trafford but plundered two inside 23 minutes against Stoke, through Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial.

Jay Z's Company Sues Rita Ora: You Owe Us Over $2 Million

Roc Nation, the music label run by Jay Z, is now suing Rita Ora.
The label claims it signed Rita in 2008 when she was an unknown and invested millions in her career. In return she had to deliver 5 albums, but the label says it only got one.

As we previously reported ... Rita filed a lawsuit back in December claiming she had a bunch of new music for her second album but the label hadn't released it, instead focusing on repping pro athletes.
But according to Roc Nation's lawsuit, the label has already spent more than $2.3 million marketing her second LP and the point of the lawsuit is to get the money back.
There's another twist ... Ora's attorney, Howard King, claims Jay Z;s  already promised to release Rita from her contract ... so the lawsuit will probably just go away.

However, on Rita's side:

Adele Tells Donald Trump To Stop Using Her Music On The Campaign Trail

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has been playing Adele's music at his rallies without her permission. Now she's putting a stop to that.

At a rally in Oklahoma, "Rolling in the Deep" played after Sarah Palin's impassioned speech. Trump also used the "Skyfall" theme at an event in Ohio.

Fans tweeted their outrage, urging the British musician to ban Palin and Trump from using her music.

Adele has made it a point since 2011 to stay out of politics, but now her team is taking steps to ensure Trump no longer uses her music.

“Adele has not given permission for her music to be used for any political campaigning,” Adele's spokesperson told the Independent.

Chelsea Captain John Terry Quit The Blues

John Terry has confirmed that he will leave Chelsea at the end of the season.

The Blues’ skipper’s current deal runs into the end of June, but the club have decided not to offer him a renewal.

Speaking after the 5-1 win over MK Dons, Terry said: "To be honest, I was in last week before the Arsenal game and it’s not going to be extended.

"It’s my last run in the FA Cup so I want to make it a good one. It’s a big season for me and I want to push on - not just in this competition but in the Premier League as well.

I knew before the Arsenal game so mentally I’ve kind of accepted it. We just have to move.

"They said that when the new manager comes in, things might change. It’s a no at the minute. I needed to know now like I have done every January and sometimes it takes a couple of months to get done. Unfortunately it was a no. It’s not going to be a fairytale ending,

I’m not going to retire at Chelsea. It’s going to be elsewhere which it took me a couple of days to get over.
